117 – Puscifer, Mr. Bungle, Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou and Zeal & Ardor

It’s one of the busiest weeks of the year as Remfry and Steve are up to their eyeballs with new releases. Coming under their critical gaze this week are new releases by Puscifer, Mr. Bungle, Bring Me the Horizon, Eels, Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou, Nothing, Zeal & Ardor and PUP … phew!

Steve also reviews the Fever 333 livestream from Los Angeles and Remfry picks a fight with pretty much every musician that has ever existed.

70 – The Anal Timekeeper

Steve and Remfry are in a state of befuddlement this week … it must be because it’s our last episode of the year where we’ll be reviewing new releases. Under the microscope for the final review show of 2019 are albums by Beck, Lindemann, Cattle Decapitation and Misery Loves Co.

There are also live reviews of PUP, Sick of it All, Ghost and A Celebration of Talk Talk’s Mark Hollis and trade-off features Fall Out Boy and Catch.

36 – Death to False Fun

Steve gets distracted this week talking about Easter Eggs, despite it being a full week before Easter … maybe the sheer complexity and mind-boggling nature of this week’s albums has gone to his head. And that’s hardly surprising, considering the boys review albums by Periphery, PUP, Raketkanon, Waste of Space Orchestra and Town Portal.

Remfry also went to see Black Futures at The Lexington in London and Trade-off comes courtesy of Royal Republic’s Weekend Man and Scott Walker’s The Drift.
