145 – Gary Numan, VOLA, Fly Pan Am and Prosperina

Remfry and Steve discuss weird collaborations as the news breaks that A$AP Rocky has wrangled in Morrissey to guest on his new album …….. joy! In other news, Slipknot’s Shawn Crahan (AKA Clown) is to release his own brand of Cannabis products, Glastonbury have been granted a license to hold a mini-festival called Equinox with a capacity of 50,000 patrons and accusations against Prince have once again reared their ugly head in a New York Times interview conducted with Sinead O Connor.

Albums reviewed this week include Intruder by Gary Numan, Witness by VOLA, Frontera by Fly Pan AM and Flag by Prosperina.

66 – Signed, Sealed and Delivered (by Morrissey)

On this week’s show, Steve and Remfry review new releases by Swans, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Stake, Une Misère and Frail Body. Plus the boys talk about the new Bloodstock announcement and Morrissey selling albums by the likes of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Patti Smith and Lou Reed for $300 a pop … but they’re signed by Morrissey so, you know …. worth it!

43 – No Mash to Heat Up Your Beans

It’s a bumper week this week what with obtuse Scottish arena rock botherers Biffy Clyro shocking us all by releasing a new album in the form of a soundtrack to feature film Balance, Not Symmetry. Steve and Remfry cast their critical eye upon it, as well as new albums by Rammstein, Morrissey, Destrage and Petrol Girls

There’s also sad new to impart from the Slipknot camp and Steve has an unsolicited theory as to the identity of their new member, plus trade-off goes from the sublime to the utterly turgid with The Hold Steady’s Boys and Girls in America and Collapsed Lung’s Cooler both being discussed.
